摘要
本文作者认为口译员在"博"的同时,还要专,才能符合当今口译特殊用途的需要,并以品酒会作为切入点,提出成功的特殊用途口译既有一般口译的共同点,也有许多不同之处。归纳来说,品酒会口译所需要的技能和策略有:双语和专业酒知识、交际知识、基于图式的记忆与理解、适宜的现场表达技能(语域的把握、文化现象的处理、听众类型策略等),此时往往需要译员拥有符合此特殊场合的气质、举止、及处理问题的灵活性。
The author of this paper believes that in addition to general knowledge, interpreters must possess specialized knowledge in order to meet the current trend of Interpretation for Special Purposes （ISP）. The author cites wine-tasting event as an example to illustrate how a successful ISP serves common characteristics and deliver unique functions at the same time. In general, the skills and strategies needed for interpretation at wine-tasting event include： bilingual knowledge and wine expertise, social knowledge, schema-based memory and comprehension as well as appropriate presentation skills （proper register, cultural adjustment, audience strategy, etc. ）. Interpreters are often required to possess such special temperament, manner and flexibility in problem-solving skills to succeed in ISP.
