摘要
一直以来,所谓的翻译教学实际上是教学翻译,是学习某种语言和高水平运用这种语言,及深入了解这种语言文体而采用的一种方法,只是一种教学方法。而翻译教学的目的是要出翻译自身的成果,即不仅要培养学生的语言能力,更应注重培养学生的思维能力,因此,翻译教学应该重视翻译理论的研究与传授。本文旨在对翻译理论重新认识的基础上,试图阐明其在翻译教学中的地位、作用和意义。
The so-called translation teaching has always been teaching translation. It is a way of language learning or applying the language at advanced level and penetrating deeply into the language style. It is merely a teaching method. The purpose of translation teaching is to attain self-achievement as the outcome; in other words, it does not only cultivate the students' language ability but focuses more on cultivating students' thinking ability. Therefore, translation teaching should recognize the research and teaching of translation theory. Based on renewing our understanding on translation theory, this paper attempts to elucidate its status, function and significance in translation teaching.
