俄语界对翻译单位研究综述

A Survey of Translation Unit in Russian Academic Circle

本文在总结翻译界对俄语翻译单位研究的基础上,提出翻译单位乃原文最小言语或语言单位。作为翻译单位的意群,是指与译文意义对应、结构相对完整的原文最小语义单位。翻译单位的划分应主要根据原文的意群而定,之所以将意群视为翻译单位,是因为翻译的实质乃语义不变,语境对应。意群是翻译过程中理解、表达的"常量",在翻译的具体上下文,它分别通过词、词语、句子、句组和全文通篇这些具体的结构"变量"体现。

Based on the research of translation unit in Russian translation, the author proposes that the translation unit should be defined as the smallest diction and langue unit of the source language. Being part of the sense group, the translation unit is semantically equivalent and structurally comparative to the smallest unit in the source text. The major division of translation unit should base upon the sense group of the original text. The reason why we use sense group as translation unit is because translationremains constant in semantic meaning. In the translation process, the sense group is the quantitative measure in comprehension and expression. In the translation context, it is materialized through variables like lexis, word and expression, sentence, sentence group and text.
