Modernization and Indigenization: The Interaction Between the Films of Hollywood and Hong Kong——The Access to the Resurgence of the Film in Hong Kong

好莱坞主要以制片体制、建立企业文化、垂直整合等现代化因素影响了香港电影;而香港电影则以重娱乐、重类型、叙事极致化以及中国武侠精神等本土特色影响了好莱坞电影。香港电影只有立足本土化,继续借鉴好莱坞的全球化和现代代策略,才能走向复兴。

While the film of Hollywood, by way of modern factors such as filmmaking system, industrial culture and vertical integration, gives an influence on the film of Hong Kong, the latter also influences the former though indigenous factors such as focusing on amusement, genre, best story and chivalrous swordsmen. And, based on the above account, the author makes a rough scheme of the resurgence of the film in Hong Kong. Only by gaining a foothold of indigenization and drawing experience on the global and modern strategies of Hollywood, does the film of Hong Kong realize its resurgence.
