摘要
本文将 K.Kurokawa 的单腔多器件振荡器的等效电路和 K.Sol-bach 的谐波振荡器的电路模型结合起来,推广应用于分析单腔多器件二次谐波振荡器.应用 Gunn 管非线性的描述函数,对英基波和谐波模的电压幅度、最大输出功率条件以及谐波注入锁定特性作了分析.结果表明,电压幅度与单管谐波振荡器的相类似;在各器件的参数相同时,最大谐波功率与基波功率之比和单管谐波振荡器的相同;谐波注入锁定特性和多管基波振荡器的锁定特性相类似,在锁定增益相同的情况下,锁定带宽比单管谐波振荡器的宽.本文所设计的单腔双 Gunn 管谐波振荡器,实测得到在103 GHz 谐波频率附近的最大输出功率为30mW,输出功率大于10mW 的机械调谐带宽为4.15GHz.该振荡器具有稳定的工作模式.
In this paper,the equivalent circuit of single-cavity multiple-device fundamental oscillator(SCMDFO) and that of single-device harmonic oscillator (SDHO) proposed by K.Kurokawa and K.Solbach,respectively,are extented and applied to a single-cavity multiple-Gunn diode harmonic oscillator (SCMDHO).By using the describing functions of nonlinearity of Gunn diodes, the performances of the SCMDHO are analyzed.It is found that the voltage amplitudes are similar to those of SDHO,and the ratio of maximum power of harmonic to that of fundamental is identical to that in SDHO when the devices have same parameters.The harmonic injection locking behavior is also investigated,the injection locking range is greater than that of SDHO if locking gain remains constant.A 2-Gunn diode harmonic oscillator has been designcd.The measured output power at 103 GHz is 30 mW.The mechanical tunning range is 4.15 GHz when the output power remains more than 10 mW. The desired operation mode is stable.
