大学英语教学中一个不容忽视的问题——阅读速度的培养

To Promote Reading Speed in College English Teaching

目前大学英语教学依然把阅读能力的培养摆在非常重要的位置,但作为阅读能力重要组成部分的阅读速度并没有得到足够的重视。笔者通过数据分析,阐述了培养阅读速度的重要性,并结合教学实践体会,分析了影响学生阅读速度的因素,最后提出了针对阅读速度训练的建议。

To promote learners＇ reading ability and efficiency is still the focus of College English Teaching at present, while reading speed, which is an important component of reading ability, is to some extent ignored. The author illustrates the significance of promoting learners＇ reading speed ; and based upon teaching practices, analyses the factors that influence learners＇ reading speed and comes up with some advice guided by certain theories as well.
