摘要
焦虑不仅是心理学界普遍关注和探讨的问题,也是语言教学领域经常讨论并思考的重要课题之一。作为情感因素之一,焦虑对语言学习具有重要影响。从心理学和外语学习的角度,探讨了焦虑的内涵及其表现。通过口语焦虑感问卷调查分析了焦虑对大学生英语口语能力的影响,结果表明大学生在英语口语表达方面存在较强的焦虑感,并且表现出较大的个体差异,焦虑对口语能力有负面影响。根据克拉申的情感过滤假说,提出了多种降低焦虑感的教学策略以促进大学英语口语教学。
Anxiety is not only a subject that has aroused major concern from the psychological field, but also one of the primary research topics in English teaching. Anxiety, as one of the affective variables influencing college students' oral English competence, is explored from the perspective of psychology and linguistics, and the correlation between the anxiety and competence is analyzed through a direct survey on how they were anxious in learning. Statistical results show that most of them felt a higher level of anxiety in English learning with distinct individual differences. Based on Krashen's affective filter hypothesis, the implications on how to successfully create a low-anxiety and learner-friendly learning environment are presented.
