Discussion of“节(jie)”

本文考察了“節”的本义及其相关引申义,并分析了“節”,“卩”,“即”三字之间的关系,从而认为“節”原来的意义系统存在一定的问题。

This paper looks into the original and extended meaning of ＂jie（ 節 ）＂ ,and analyzes the connection of the three characters ： ＂jie（ 節 ）＂ ,＂ jie （ 卩 ）＂ and＂ ji （ 即 ）＂ , thus thinks that the former semantic system of ＂jie（ 節 ）＂ has some problems.
