徐州云龙书院沿革述略

A Brief Account of the Development of Yunlong Academy of Classical Learning of Xuzhou

徐州云龙书院草创于清康熙末,雍正年间正式建成书院,乾嘉时代的扩建令其规模备具。冯煦、张伯英等皆是肄业于云龙书院的著名历史人物。

Informally set up in the reign of Emperor Kangxi （1662-1722）, the Qing Dynasty, Yunlong Academy of Classical Learning of Xuezhou was formally founded in the reign of Emperor Yongzheng （ 1723-1735 ） , and enlarged and perfected in the reign of Emperor Qianlong （ 1736-1795 ）. Some well-known historical figures, such as Feng Xue and Zhang Boying, once studied in this academy. Three important documents about Yunlong Academy of Classical Learning are presented at the end of the paper, entitled The Record of Rebuilt Yunlong Academy of Classical Learning.
