摘要
顾拜旦为实现奥运与现代文化的结合孜孜以求,给现代奥林匹克运动注入了丰富而深刻的人文内涵。他构造了以奥林匹克主义为核心的现代奥林匹克运动的思想体系,为奥运的发展奠定了坚实的思想基础。他的崇高理想就是通过复兴和发展奥林匹克运动来促进人的身心和谐发展和人类的和平进步。同时,顾拜旦的人文思想与人文实践仍存在某些局限性。
Pierre de Coubertin filled the Olympic Movement with rich and profound humanistic connotations by combining the Olympic Movement with modern cultures. He conceived the Olympic thought system with Olympism as its center, and laid a solid foundation for the development of the Olympic Movement. His lofty ideal was promoting people＇ s harmonious development in both body and mind by reviving and developing the Olympic Games. Minewhile, there were some limitations in Pierre de Coubertin＇s humanistic thought and practice.
