论哈代小说的多样化叙事情境及其文体效果

The Variety of Narrative Situation and Stylistic Effects of Hardy's Novels

奥地利学者F.K.斯坦泽提出了叙事情境的概念,我国学者罗钢对这一术语的内涵提出了修正。根据罗钢的观点,叙事情境是对传统意义上的叙事人称和叙事视角概念的综合。哈代在其小说中运用了“编辑者全知”型、“中立的全知”型、人物叙事情境等多种叙事情境,有些段落甚至采用了重合的叙事情境。这种叙事情境的多样化,创造出多样化的文体效果,增强了小说的悲剧力量。

While F · K· Stanzel first advanced the concept of narrative situation,Luo Gang modified the connotation of this term. According to Luo Gang, narrative situation combines the traditional concepts of person and point of view. Thomas Hardy applied various narrative situations to his narration ,which includes the editorial omniscient narration,the neutral omniscient narration, the figural narration, and in some part the overlapping narrative situation,thus creating a variety of stylistic effects and enhancing the tragic power of the novels.
