摘要
传统DPM策略通过适应请求分布降低功耗,效果受到限制。另一类策略主动改变请求分布,使其较好的满足DPM要求。数据缓冲区策略属于其中的典型,但现有的缓冲区策略未充分考虑实际系统的数据访问情况,对数据缓冲区的使用效率较低。本文针对此问题提出一种新颖的DGDB(Dynamic Grouping of Data Buffer)功耗管理策略。实验结果表明,在复杂数据访问情况下,DGDB策略具有更好的节能效果与稳定性。
Traditional DPM policies adapt to request distribution to reduce the power consumption, so the result is limited. Another kind of policy changes the request distribution actively, making the distribution well meet DPM requirement. Policy with data buffer is typical among them, but existing policies do not fully consider the data access of actual system, resulting in inefficient usage of data buffer. In view of the problem, this paper proposes a novel power management policy called DGDB (Dynamic Grouping of Data Buffer). Experimental results show that DGDB has better effect and stability.
