摘要
在现有SDH传输网的基础上建设IP广域网的最佳方案是引入弹性分组环技术,将IP数据业务与SDH传输通道完美地适配起来。文章分析了弹性分组环技术的特点,结合实例介绍了利用RPR over SDH技术组建IP网在增强网络的可靠性、提高SDH带宽利用率方面的优势,为利用SDH传输通道组建高可靠广域网提供思路和参考。
Based on SDH transmission channel, the optimal scheme of constructing IP WAN is to utilize Resilient Packet Ring (RPR) technique, which can match IP data business with SDH transmission channel perfectly. This paper analyzes the characteristics of Resilient Packet Ring, and explains the advantages of RPR over SDH on increasing the transmission reliability and the bandwidth efficiency through an example. All these will provide some useful references for constructing WAN on existing SDH transmission channel.
