摘要
It was not until the establishment of the Republic, China has begun to issue commemorate dollars. But due to lack of official records, some of these coins’ background are unknown to the current numismatists. A handwritten manuscript of the former director of Tianjin Mint tells quite a few inside stories, especially on the 1919 Hung Hsi “Flying Dragon” dollar-size medal.
