本文记述网管蓟马属(缨翅目:管蓟马科)二新种:海南网管蓟马 Apelaunothrips hainanensis;长齿网管蓟马A. longidens,并发现二种中国分布新记录:两色网管蓟马 A. bicolor okajima;褐斑网管蓟马 A. luridus Okajima,文内附有中国网管蓟马属已知8种的检索表及其分布。
Eight species of the genus Apelaunothrips Karny are recorded from China. Two of these are described as new to science, A. bicolor Okajima and A. luridus Okajima are new record from China. A key is provided to these species. All the type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of South China Agricultural University.1. Apelaunothrips hainanensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-4)Female (brachypterous) Length 1.8 mm. Bicoloured yellow and brown; head, prothorax, anterior and lateral margin of mesothorax, abdominal segments Ⅱ-Ⅴ brown; abdominal segments Ⅶ-Ⅸ and tube dark brown; antennal segments Ⅰ-Ⅱ, Ⅵ-Ⅷ brown, Ⅲ-Ⅳ yellow, Ⅴ bicoloured brown and yellowish brown. Head about 1.3 times as long as wide; antennal segment Ⅲ with two sense-cones (1 + 1), IV with three sense-cones (1 + 2); pelta subtrapezoid.Male (brachypterous) Colour and structure as in female, except for the smaller body and more slender abdomen.Holotype ♀, Allotype ♂, Nada (19.5°N, 109.5°E), Hainan Island, in leaf litter, 28.X.1986 (Zhang Jian). Paratypes (3♀♀, 1♂): 2♀♀, collected with holotype; Mr. Jianfenling (18.7°N, 108.8°E), Hainan Island, 1♂, in leaf litter, 31.X.1986 (Tong Xiao-li); Jinghong (22.0°N, 100.8°E), Yunnan Province, in leaf litter, 1♀,1. Ⅳ. 1987 (Tong Xiao-li).This new species is similar to A. leois (Mound), but it can be distinguished by the color of antennal segments, antennal segment Ⅲ with two sense-cones (1 + 1), tergites Ⅱ-Ⅷ with 3-4 fine setae laterally anterior to B1, pelta subtrapezoid.2. Apelaunothrips longidens sp. nov. (figs. 5-9). Female (brachypterous). Length 2.1 mm. Bicoloured brown and yellow, Head, thorax, abdominal segments Ⅱ-Ⅷ yellow, posterior half of Ⅸ and tube brown; antennal segments Ⅰ, Ⅲ yellow, Ⅱ yellowish brown, middle of Ⅳ-Ⅴ and Ⅵ-Ⅷ brown, the rest yellow, segment Ⅲ with three sense-cones (1+2), Ⅳ with five sense-cones (2 + 3), fore tarsal with short and widebased tooth, pelta bell-shaped, with a pair of discal pores at posterior margin.Female (macropterous). Colour and structure Similar to brachypterous, but forewings with 8-9 duplicated cilia.Male (brachypterous). Colour and structure as in female except body smaller; fore tarsal with a long tooth.Holotype ♀, Allotype ♂, Heishiding, Fengkai Co., Guangdong Province, in leaf litter, 4. VII.1987 (Tong Xiao-li). Paratypes (8♂♂, 25♀♀): 7♂♂, 23♀♀, 1♀ (macropterous) Collected with holotype; Mt. Dinghu (23.1°N, 112.5°E), Guangdong Province, 1♀, 1♂, 4. Ⅵ. 1987 (Tong Xiao-li).This new species resmbles A. indicus and A. bicolor in appearance but it can be distinguished by the antennal segment Ⅲ with three conse-cones (1+2) and Ⅳ with five conse-co-nes; fore tarsal with a tooth, pelta bell-shaped, with a pair of discal pores.
