A STUDY ON CHINESE HALICTUS (HALICTUS) WITH DESCRIPTION OF THREE NEW SPECIES (HYMENOPTERA: HALICTIDAE)

本文记述隧蜂亚属12种,其中三个新种:拟黄带隧蜂 Halictus (Halictus) pseudotakuiricus;扎达隧蜂Halictus (Halictus) zadaensis;红足斑点隧蜂Halictus (Halictus) frostus;一个新纪录种:黄带隧蜂Halictus (Halictus) takuiricus Blüthgen。文中附有12种的种检索表。

The present paper deals with Halictus (Halictus) of China, 12 species are included, among them H. (H.) pseudotakuiricus, H. (H.) zadaensis, H. (H.) frostus are described as new to science. H. (H.) takuiricus Bluthgen is a new record for China. All type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica, Beijing. A key is prepared for the identification of these species. The diagnostic characters of the new species are given as follows:1. Halictus (Halictus) pseudotakuiricus gp. nov. (fig. 1)♀. Length 11.5-12mm. Similar to Halictus (Halictus) takuiricus Bliithgen, but anterior part of mesonotum smooth, shinihng; punctures of mesonotum denser; body smaller.Holotype ♀, zada, Xizang, (31.6°N, 80°E), 4200 M, 12. Ⅵ. 1976, Huang Fu-sheng. Para-type 1♀, Zada, Xizang, 14. Ⅵ. 1976, Huang, F. S.2. Halictus (Halictus) zadaensis sp. nov. (fig. 2)♀. Lenth 12 mm. Similar to Halictus (Halictus) pseudatakutricus Fan, but punctures of clypeus denser; punctures of mesonotum sparser.Holotype ♀. Zada, Xizang 12. Ⅵ. 1976, Huang, F. S.3. Halictus (Halictus) frostus sp. nov. (figs. 3-8)♂. Length 9-10 mm. ♀. 12 mm.
