同恙螨属一新种(蜱螨亚纲:恙螨科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS COTROMBICULA (ACARI: TROMBICULIDAE)

梨形同恙螨,新种Cotrombicula pyriformis sp.nov.采自江西省弋阳县中华鼠耳蝠Myotis chinensis的翼膜上,为我国同恙螨属螨种初记。

Cotrombicula pyriformis sp. nov. (figs. 1-5)Body pale yellow when alive, pyriform in shape. Idiosoma 399-507×313-399 μm. SIF= 6B-B-3-2111.0000. Galeal setae plumose. Palpal setal formula B-B-B-B-B/6B. Palpal claw 3-pronged. Scutum trapozoidal, with numerous punctae of unequal size and fused to form re-culate pattern. Sensilla slender, filiform, with fine branches on the distal end. Standard measurements are given in table (in microns). Dorsal setae 30-33, arranged as 2-8-6-8-4-2. Ventral setae 24-30. Sternal setae 2/2. Coxal setae 1-1-1. Legs: Ⅰ 291, Ⅱ 243, Ⅲ 299 μm. IP: 799.Holotype and 5 paratypes, larvae, were collected from wings of Myotis chinensis in August 1979, from Yiyang, Jiangxi Province.This new species is similar to the Cotrombicula mitchellensis Goff, 1983, but differs in: Dorsal setae 30-33 in number, arranged as 2-8-6-8-4-2; scutum trapezoidal, PW/SD = 1.77; scutal setae (AM, AL, PL) longer; sensillae shorter (56 μm). It is also allied to the Cotrom-bicula zresitti Nadchatram et Wilson, 1965, but: palpal claw 3-pronged; P\V/SD = 1.77; palpal setae B-B-B-B-B/6B; dorsal setae arranged as 2-8-6-8-4-2; Ventral setae 24-30.
