合轮恙螨属一新种(蜱螨亚纲:恙螨科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS HELENICULA AUDY (ACARI: TROMBICULIDAE)

本文描述合轮恙螨属一新种——徐氏合轮恙螨,其体毛总数仅90根,前、后背毛略等长,不超过40微米;第2对足的微跗毛位于跗毛的前方;第3对足的跗毛长60μm。模式标本存广东省卫生防疫站。

Helenicula hsui sp. nov. (figs. 1-6)Diagnosis: SIF 5B-N-3-2111.0000 IP = 629(662)This new species is closely related to Helenicula scanloni Domrow et Nadchatram, 1964, but differs from it in the following characteristics: Ⅰ. sum of dorsal and ventral setae 90, instead of >100 2. length of antero-centrodorsal setae almost equal to pygosomalones, only 26 μm 3. microtarsala of leg II before (instead of behind) the tarsala. This species is also similar to Helenicula simena (Hsu et Chen, 1957), but differs in: shallow scutum; shorter scutal setae; ventral setae < 40 (not 56) in number; body setae short, <40μm.Formula of palpal setae B/B/N'N'B. NDV=81-91.Legs: Formula of coxal setae 1-1-5(6); length of legs: Ⅰ 225(231), Ⅱ 183(196), Ⅲ 221 (235).Leg Ⅰ tarsala 12 μm<leg II tarsala 16-18 μm.Leg Ⅲ genuala and tibiala short, only 6-9 μm; length of tarsus 56-62(59) μm.Holotype and 1 paratype deposited in the Sanitation and Anti-Epidemic Station of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou, China.
