河南灵宝市西坡遗址2006年发现的仰韶文化中期大型墓葬

The Large Tombs of Yangshao Culture Discovered in the 2006 Excavation on the Xipo Site in Lingbao,Henan

河南灵宝地处仰韶文化中期的核心地带，聚集了众多大型中心性聚落，西坡遗址面积达40万平方米，是其中保存最为完好者之一。自2000年第一次发掘以来，该遗址因大型房址①、壕沟、墓地②、大型墓葬和成批玉器③的发现日渐引起学术界的重视。在2005年4～7月的第五次发掘中，发现了该遗址的墓地，共揭露仰韶文化中期晚段墓葬22座，出土玉器10余件。其中最大的墓葬M8长3．95、宽3．09、深2．35米，随葬有骨箍、长22．9厘米的玉钺、陶大口缸等特殊遗物。这是在仰韶文化中期的核心地区第一次发现该时期墓葬，尤其受到学术界关注。为了对墓地的情况作进一步了解，2006年3～5月，由中国社会科学院考古研究所、河南省文物考古研究所和三门峡市文物考古研究所等单位组成的联合考古队，对西坡遗址进行了第六次发掘，位置在2005年发现的墓葬区的西部和北部，揭露面积约1600平方米，发现大型墓葬2座，其他中、小型墓lO座。出土随葬品有陶器、骨器、石器、玉器等。各墓葬的年代与2005年发现的墓葬相当，同属仰韶文化中期晚段。现将其中2座大型墓葬M27、M29的情况简单介绍如下。

The sixth excavation on the Xipo site in Lingbao, Henan, carried out in 2006, resulted in the revelation of 12 burials of the middle Yangshao culture. Two of them - M27 and M29 are among the largest and most complex tombs of their time. Either of them has a burial pit, a chamber covered with wooden planks and weaves, and a＂foot pit＂with pottery. M27 is entirely filled with straw-mixed mud. However, except for the two painted large-mouthed vats found in M27, no precious goods such as jade and ivory objects were unearthed from the two burials. This phenomenon, together with the large public buildings previously discovered on this site, can be regarded as important evidence of the group-orientation of the social complexity brought about in the middle Yangshao culture.
