广西合浦县母猪岭汉墓的发掘

Excavation of Han Tombs at Muzhuling in Hepu County,Guangxi

1990～1996年广西合浦县博物馆在母猪岭发掘了10座汉代墓葬,其中5座保存较好,可分为土坑墓和砖石墓两类。土坑墓均为长方形土坑木椁墓,而砖石墓皆由墓室和墓道组成。墓内的葬具和人骨已朽。随葬品以陶器为主,还有铜器、铁器、铜镜、钱币、印章、装饰品等。该墓地时代从西汉晚期延续到东汉后期,为黄姓家族的墓地。

In 1990 to 1996, the Guangxi Hepu County Museum carried out a salvaging excavation of ten Han period tombs at Muzhuling. These burials are mound-eovered in a few eases, preserved in fairly a good eondition for one half and divided into two types： wooden-ehambered earthen-pit reetangular graves and briek ones eonsisting of a tomb ehamber and a passage eaeh. The eoffins and human skeletons are all rotten, and the funeral objeets inelude mainly pottery, and also bronzes, ironware, mirrors, eoins, seals and ornaments. The bronzes bear rieh designs; the bronze lamps and pottery house models are unique in form and exeellent in workmanship; and the pottery toilet models have rare eounterparts among previous finds. Based on the features of the unearthed grave goods, espeeially the eoins, seals and lamps, the tombs ean be dated to the late Western Han to later Eastern Han period. The eemetery belonged to a Huang family.
