摘要
三角网格局部细分方法旨在表现具有多种地形地貌特征的复杂地形,合理解决三维地形中不同的地形对三角网格疏密不同的要求.给出了一种在Java 3D中实现三维地形三角网格局部细分的算法,在原有整体网格上进行局部细分的同时,增强地形地貌中高低起伏的变化.网格的局部细分技术还可以应用于LOD(细节层次)技术方面的研究.
The local subdivision of triangular mesh can be used to represent complex terrain with a lot of topographic and geomorphic features, and to meet the demand for different mesh density in various three-dimensional terrains, An algorithm to realize the local subdivision of triangular mesh in Java 3D has be been introduced. While the original mesh is locally subdivided, the variation of rising and falling in the terrain gets enhanced, In addition, the local mesh subdivision method can be also applied to the research of LOD technology.
