农民问题是传统社会向现代社会转变中的关键问题。法国农民在现代化进程中既表现出经济改革上的进步性和保守性,也表现出政治革命中的革命性和保守性。从19世纪下半叶开始,法国农民在物质生产能力和商品交换能力提高的基础上,生产生活方式和思想观念都发生了深刻的变化,逐渐向现代人转变。这对于我国正在进行的农业现代化建设有一定的启示意义。

In the process of modernization, French peasantry has both the characteristic of being progressive and conservative in the economical reformation and political revolution. From the latter half of the nineteenth century, On the basis of the raise of the throughput of substance and ability of commodity exchange, the style of production and life of French peasantry have been transformed and gradually turned into modern people. This is of certain significance to the construction of Chinese agricultural modernization.
