价值论维度的科学精神和人文精神的统一

The Unity of Scientific Spirit and Humane Spirit on the Basis of the Principle of Value

人类的实践活动只有做到既遵循真理原则,又遵循价值原则,才能保证实践的成功。正是基于实践的这一要求,人们逐渐形成了科学精神和人文精神,并形成了以二者统一作为实践的指导思想和行为规范的原则。从这个意义上讲,价值论是科学精神和人文精神统一的重要理论基础,离开价值论谈科学精神与人文精神的统一是片面的和不现实的。

As long as observing the principle of truth as well as the principle of value, the human practice can be successful. On the basis of this requirement, scientific spirit and humane spirit have been crystallized in our human beings. In addition, a principle of a unity of both spirits has crystallize and thus guides our practice and conduct. In this aspect, the principle of value is an important theoretical ground of the unity of both scientific spirit and humane spirit. It is unrealistic and one-sided to study the unity of scientific spirit and humane spirit apart from the principle of value.
