图式理论在英语阅读教学中的应用

The Application of Schema Theory to Teaching Reading in English

通过介绍图式理论以及图式理论在英语阅读教学中的广泛应用,以揭示图式理论在阅读理解中的重要作用,即图式理论不仅可以培养学习者的阅读兴趣,发展他们独立思考和分析问题、解决问题的能力,还可以培养概括和逻辑思维的能力,激发学习者之间的合作与沟通,同时对学习者自我学习能力的提高有很大的帮助。另外,笔者大胆地提出了一些有用的策略和方法来更好地把图式理论应用在阅读教学实践中。

This paper reveals the importance of schema theory by means of introducing schema theory and its application in teaching reading in English. Schema theory not only can cultivate students＇ interests in reading, but also developing their ability to analyze and solve problems independently, as well as the ability to make the problems logic and summarized. It can also arouse cooperation and communication between learners and have a great effect on improving learners＇ self-learning ability. Besides, the author puts forward some useful strategies and methods to combine schema theory with teaching reading in practice.
