辽东裂谷蕴藏着丰富的金属与非金属矿产资源,它们的成矿作用与裂谷的不同发展演化阶段相对应,在裂谷发育早期,裂谷拉张下陷形成凹陷,沿同生断裂发生强烈的中基性火山活动。火山活动携带大量的Cu、Fe、Co等成矿物质,与沉积物一起沉积形成Cu、Co含矿建造,并控制了裂谷Cu、Co资源的分布。

The volcanic activitities carried a lot of mineralizing substance such as copper, iron, cobalt et al. The substance mixing sediment deposited and foemed ore-bearing formation of aopper and cobalt resources.
