“对娱乐场所从业女性实施预防性病/艾滋病的综合干预”项目实施报告

Project Performance Report of "Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Prevention Intervention to Female Workers of Entertainment Places"

目的运用宣传教育、安全套推广、性病防治等综合手段进行干预,控制性病/艾滋病向娱乐场所从业女性的传播,并探索人口和计划生育部门针对娱乐场所从业女性进行性病/艾滋病预防干预的模式。方法根据“对项目点娱乐场所从业女性实施预防性病/艾滋病综合干预”的两个季度项目评估表,进行对比分析。结果经过综合干预,参与项目的4省12个地区娱乐场所从业女性在性病/艾滋病认知方面有了改善,最后一次商业性行为使用安全套有所提高,加强了各部门协同工作的力度。结论人口和计划生育部门在多部门协作框架下,对娱乐场所从业女性实施预防性病/艾滋病的综合干预,取得了成效。

Objective： Comprehensive intervention measures including IEC （information education and communication）/BCC（ behavior change communication）, condom generalization and STDs （sexually transmitted diseases） intervention were used to prevent transmission of STDs/AIDS to female workers of entertainment places, whose purpose was to probe into establishment of model for STDs/AIDS intervention by population and family planning departments. Methods： Comparative analysis were carried out to 2 sets of reported data from the project which was ＂comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention intervention to female workers of entertainment places＂ distributed among 12 pilot areas in 7 provinces. Results： After comprehensive intervention, female workers in entertainment places among 12 pilot areas in 4 provinces showed improved awareness of STDs/AIDS and raised percentage of condom using in the last commercial sexual behavior, which appeared tightening cooperative effort for the project implementation among different departments. Conclusion： It proved effective for comprehensive intervention towards female workers in entertainment places for STDs/ AIDS prevention by population and family planning departments based upon coordination of different departments.
