Egr-1 and pulmonary fibrosis

摘要 异常的细胞外基质的沉积破坏了正常的肺结构是肺纤维化的特征。Egr-1被发现与肺纤维化有关,据研究其作用大多是通过TGF-β1实现的。Egr-1能诱导TGF-β1的表达,而TGF-β1又能诱导Egr-1表达。Egr-1影响成纤维细胞增殖、向肌成纤维细胞分化,并且与肺泡上皮细胞、内皮细胞凋亡,肺泡、气道炎症以及细胞外基质形成有关。血管紧张素转换酶系统对肺纤维化的作用亦与Egr-1有关。但Egr-1对肺纤维化的具体作用还不完全明了,需要作深入研究。 The characteristic of pulmonary fibrosis is the abnormal deposit of extracellular matrix to destroy the normal pulmonary structure. Early growth response gene-1 (Egr-1) is concerned with the pulmonary fibrosis and the effect requires the TGF-β1. Egr-1 can induce the expression of TGF-β1 and TGF-β1 can induce the expression of Egr-1. Egr-1 contributes to the fibroblast proliferation and differentiation into the myofibroblast. Egr-1 is concerned with the apoptosis of alveolar epithelial cell and endothelial cell. Egr-1 is also concerned with the inflammation of alveolus and airway. Egr-1 contributes to the formation of extracellular matrix. The effect of angiotensin-converting to the pulmonary fibrosis is related with Egr-1. The concrete role of Egr-1 to the pulmonary fibrosis is inadequate and awaits more research.
