情报学的困境和前景

Information Science： Predicament and Prospect

本文从学科理论、教育、职业认同三方面对世界范围的情报学困境进行了分析，指出情报学陷入困境的根源在于三方面：强势学科的加入竞争，信息技术的发展和影响，情报学的内在局限性。描述了美国和欧洲应对情报学困境的不同探索方向，最后对中国情报学的发展提出了一条可供选择的路径。

This paper analyzes the predicament of information science in three aspects： theory, education and profession identity. The authors point out the predicament of information science is owing to three reasons： the short of special study object; the impact of information technology, and the historic development character of information science, describe the exploration to the field by USA and European Union, give a choice to the development of information science in China.
