The highlights and applications of the new air-jet terry weaving machine Terryplus 800 by Picanol N. V. , Ieper/Belgium are described. Modular design, advantages concerning reduction of material waste, machine speed, and energy consumption are discussed. Terryplus 800 is based on the same high-performance weaving technology as the Omniplus 800 air-jet weaving machine, which Picanol launched in 2005. Picanol has developed Terryplus 800 for the production of high-quality terry in a wide range of applications and at competitive prices.
