Electroluminescence Devices of a New Kind of Rare Earth Complex:TbY(o-MOBA)_6(phen)_2·2H_2O

摘要 合成了一类新型稀土配合物TbY(o-MOBA)6(phen)2.2H2O,将其掺杂到导电聚合物聚乙稀咔唑(PVK)中获得了纯正、明亮的绿光发射。用这种掺杂体系分别制作了2类器件1)ITO/PVKTbY(o-MOBA)6(phen)2.2H2O/LiF/Al;2)ITO/PVKTbY(o-MOBA)6(phen)2.2H2O/BCP/AlQ/LiF/Al。器件1的起亮电压为13V,在21V时最大亮度为18.2cd/m2;结构优化的器件2,在23V时最大亮度可达124.5cd/m2。将这种材料的发光性能与另一种稀土配合物Tb(o-MOBA)3phen.H2O相比较,并分别讨论了其光致发光(PL)和电致发光(EL)机理。 A new kind of rare earth(RE) complex TbY(o-MOBA)6 (phen)2 · 2 H2O was synthesized,which was used as an emitting material in electroluminescence. The materiai was doped into poly N- vinylcarbazole(PVK) as the emitting layer,and two kinds of devices were fabricated with the structures: 1 ) ITO/PVK .. RE complex/LiF/A1; 2 ) ITO/PVK: RE complex/ BCP/A1Q/LiF/A1. The turn on voltage of device 1 is 13 V and the device has the highest brightness of 18.2 cd/mz at 21 V. Compared with the other kind of terbium complex Tb(o-MOBA)3 phen · H2O, photoiuminescence(PL) and electroluminescence(EL) mechanisms of this material were discussed. Bright green emission was obtained from the optimized multi-layer device 2,and the highest EL brightness reached 124.5 cd/m^2 at the voltage of 23 V.
