An Improved Image Filtering Method for Salt and Pepper Noise

摘要 针对极值中值(EM)滤波算法在去除椒盐噪声时误检率较大的问题,提出了一种改进的椒盐噪声去除算法。算法由漏检率和误检率都较低的噪声检测过程和多窗口噪声滤波过程组成,对受不同强度噪声污染图像的去噪实验表明,该方法在不同噪声率下均优于传统的中值(SM)滤波法及其一些改进方法,当噪声率达到70%时其峰值信噪比(PSNR)提高了16dB。 Aiming at the high wrong-check rate of extremum median filtering in denoising image, an improved image filtering algorithm for the salt and pepper noise is proposed. The algorithm is composed of noise detection and noise filtering. The proposed noise detection method has low wrong-check rate and error-check rate. A multi-window filtering method is then used to revise the gray value of pixels that are labeled as noise. The proposed method is proved to be superior to the traditional median filter and some improved method for different noise image. The PSNR is increased about 16 dB when the noise rate achieves 70%.
