Careworn Life and Natural Life:A Comparison between the North Folk Song and the South Folk Song in Chinese Ancient Times

以中国南北文化为背景,考察和比较了中国南北民歌的基本内涵。北方民歌所具有的“英雄情结与故土情结的冲突”、“爱情与婚姻的悖离”、“物质与精神的双重煎熬”,表明它是一种“忧患人生”的歌;而南方民歌所具有“快乐第一,责任第二的观念”、“爱情第一,婚姻第二的精神”,表明它是一种“潇洒人生”的歌。

This paper carefully compared the different connotation between the north folk songs and the south folk songs of Chinese based on the different cultural backgroung. The north folk songs which have the confliction of the heroic complex and the native land complex and the disobey of the love and the marriage and the dual sufferings of the material and the mental, has the connotation of careworn life ; The south songs which have the idea that the joy is first and the responsibility is second and the spirit that the love is first and the marital is second, has the connotation of natural life.
