摘要
细胞周期依赖性蛋白激酶(cyclin-dependent kinases,CDKs)是细胞周期调控机制的核心,CDKs与相应的细胞周期素(cyclin)结合是细胞周期各类分子事件的启动和进行的必要条件。CDK3与CDC2(CDK1)和CDK2很高的同源性,CDK3与CDK1、CDK2功能有一定的相似,但又截然不同。在细胞周期行进过程中,CDK3与相应的cyclin结合参与调控细胞G1/S转变以及促进细胞G0期的退出,是细胞周期进程中的限速步骤。而目前有关CDK3准确的生物学功能及其在细胞周期中的调控机制还并不十分清楚。本文就目前CDK3的生物学功能及其在细胞周期中的调控机制的研究进展做一综述。
Cyclin- dependent kinases (CDKs) are the core of cell cycle regulation, which is essential for initiating and processing the cell cycle as they interact with their cyclin partners. CDK3 has the high homology with CDC2 (CDK1) and CDK2, which has some similar function, but absolutely different. CDK3 interaction with its cyclin partner involves in the G1/S transition and promotes G0 exit, which is the rate-limiting for cell cycle progression. However, the exactly biological function and regulation mechanism in cell cycle of CDK3 remain to be elucidated. In this paper, the research progress about biological function and regulation mechanism in cell cycle of CDK3 is described in summary.
