通过分析当前腐败的表现、特点和危害,可以看出比较严重的腐败现象是影响社会和谐的主要问题之一。反腐败斗争与构建和谐社会的关系,说明反腐败斗争既是构建和谐社会的必然要求和政治基础,也是构建和谐社会的重要实践、有效途径和评价标准。有效构建和谐社会,必须按照民主法治、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处的目标、原则、视角和要求,进一步明确反腐倡廉的工作思路,加强廉政思想道德教育,深化政治体制改革和制度建设,加强对公共权力的制约和监督,加大严厉惩处腐败分子的工作力度,依法保障党员和公民权利,特别是要保护人才。

An analysis of the representation, characteristics and destructiveness of corruption, indicates that serious corruption is a major element affecting the construction of a harmonious society. The relation between the construction of a harmonious society and the anti-corruption struggle implies that anti-corruption struggle is not only a necessary demand and political foundation for the construction of a harmonious society, but also an important practice, effective approach and assessment criterion for the construction of a harmonious society. To develop a harmonious society, it is of great importance to observe the objective, principle, perspective and requirement of democracy, rule by law, justice, honesty, stability and order, harmonious co-existence of man and nature, to work out a clear plan for the anti-corruption enterprise, strengthen ethnic and moral education, furhter the reforms to politics and institutions, to enhance restrictions and supervision of public rights, impose more severe punishments on corruption, protect the rights of the CPC members and citizens, particularly those of the talents.
