提出一种新型的针对二值媒体信息中线性特征和边界轮廓的高效编码器.利用Beamlet多尺度分析的思想,并结合四叉树结构而提出的编码器具有渐进性和较低的计算复杂度,易于实现.仿真结果表明,该编码器优于目前最新的二值图像压缩工业标准.

A new multiscale coder for linear features and boundaries in binary multimedia is proposed. It utilizes a multiscale structure-Beamlet and quad-tree structure. The derived coder is progressive and has a low order of computational complexity. Simulations demonstrate an advantage over the state of the art industrial standard.
