在我国,城市农民工阶层是一个不容忽视的特殊群体。城市农民工具有双重身份:既具有户籍上的农民身份,又具有职业上的市民身份。城市农民工阶层的形成有其特定原因,它的存在对我国社会经济的发展具有广泛而深刻的影响。城市农民工最终融入城市社会是我国社会经济发展的必然趋势,但目前还需采取针对性措施来扫除障碍,促使其早日成为真正意义上的市民。

In China, the farmer labourer is a special group which force not to be ignored. The farmer labourers have the dual status： the farmer status in the household register and the residential status in the occupation. Its formation has specific reasons and its existence has the widespread and profound influence on the social and economic development. It is an inevitable trend for farmer labourers to melt into urban society. But at present measures must be taken to pave the way for them to become the real urban inhaitants.
