Preparation and EM Observation of Extensin Molecule from Plant Cell Wall

本文介绍一种植物细胞壁伸展蛋白分子的电镜标本制备及观察方法。用简化的装置将伸展蛋白的溶液,喷射到云母片上,再经投影和喷碳,经剥离后在电镜下观察呈棒状分子。通过测量,棒状分子的平均长度为87nm。

This paper desribes a method on specimen preparation of extensin protein molecule in plant cell wall. The protein solution was sprayed On mica sheet by using a simple device. Then the mica sheet was rotarily shadowed with pd-Ir alloy and coated with cabon and the preparation membran was stripped off from the mica sheet. The average lenghth of rod-like protein molecu-les is 87nm.
