本文通过“管接头标记自动压印机”原理方案的构思过程，说明产品原理方案设计的功能论方法的一般原理和特点及其应用。
The paper explain the general principle, character and application of function theory about product design, by means of designing process to tube connect auto markingpress.The method take function analysis as a core by means of morphology matrix and it change a considering for struetion into a considering for function. which benefit to obtain a new design plan. It is a kind of design method on product principle plan.
