Study on the Reform of Teaching English Vocabulary in Newly-built Locative Colleges

独立增强词汇量的能力培养在我国新升地方性本科院校英语教学中十分欠缺,新升地方性本科院校英语词汇教学改革势在必行。改革应遵循突出个性、与时俱新、文化导入、优化融通等基本原则,重点抓好词汇教学课程计划、教材体系、课堂模式的改革,从而从整体上提高新升地方性本科院校英语词汇教学水平。

College English teaching is wanting in developing the students＇ ability to extend their vocabulary by themselves so that it is imperative to reform English vocabulary teaching in colleges. Some points of view about the thought, the principles and the contents of the reform are offered in order to improve college English vocabulary teaching as a whole.
