个人崇拜在中国的发生具有深厚的社会历史根源,同时,个人崇拜也具有两面性,即行为主体对特定政治人物的崇拜和主体自身的主体性迷失。二者并非单独发生,而往往是同时并行的。它们的结合会在群众运动中产生特殊的社会动员功能。为解读建国后一系列政治运动的发生、发展提供独到的视角。

The emergence of the personality cult in China has deep social historical origins. Meanwhile, the personality cult have dual character too. One is behavioral subject＇s worship to specific political leader, the other is the lose of subject oneself in the adoration. Both of the sides do not happen alone, but often run side by side at the same time . Their combination would produce special social mobilizing function in the mass campaign in their combination, in addition it offer the original visual angle for understanding the emergence and development of a series of political movements after the foundation of the socialist new China.
