Exploring Confucian Revolutionary Thoughts in Romance of Enfeoffment to Deities

一些学者认为《封神演义》宣传了儒家政治思想,典型说法是“以仁易暴,以有道伐无道”,而此论说得尚不到位。从《列国志传》中有几处“革命”的词眼和文本中大量引用孟子“革命”话语的内证入手,结合“革命”的概念考辨,既不脱离作者所处时代的思想背景,也不与现代语境中的“革命”涵义相冲突,论证作品蕴含和宣扬了儒家革命思想。

Some scholars insist that Romance of Enfeoffment to Deities had propagated political ideas of the Confucian school.A typical view among them is ＂opposing tyranny, but looking forward to benevolent government＂ . However, the writer of this article holds that the view is not accurate. Starting from internal evidence of some words related to ＂revolution＂ and Menzi＇ s revolutionary discourse cited in Romance of States, along with the investigation of the concept of ＂revolution＂, the writer concludes that the works contains and propagates Confucian revolutionary thought.
