Two Views of Culture,Two Aesthetical Tendency——A comparative study on Jia Pingwa and Chen Zhongshi

陕西作家贾平凹、陈忠实都来自于农村,关注农村,体现出恋土情怀,但在两种不同的文化视角下,体现出不同的文学风格和审美倾向。贾平凹的作品空灵、典雅,凸显阴柔之美,陈忠实的创作则恢宏、大气磅礴,体现出阳刚之气;陈忠实的作品具有悲剧因素,人物充满苦难与悲凉,贾平凹的作品体现和谐与宁静,迷茫与困惑;陈忠实具有明确的史诗意识,构建具有鲜明史诗品格的作品,而贾平凹则更关注原生民间文化形态;陈忠实受儒家文化影响大,其作品具有反思思辨色彩,深邃而浑厚,而贾平凹受佛道思想影响较大,注重直觉与感性。

Jia Pingwa and Chen Zhongshi from Shaanxi were both brought up in the countryside,and showed great concern with it.The have a good expression of land fixation.But under two different views of culture,they showed different literature style and aesthetical tendency.Jia＂ work is of holiness and elegancy,expressing the beauty of softness,whereas Chen＇s work is of grandour,expressing the beauty of hardness.There is tradgy in Chen＇s work,with the charactor filled with misery and hardships,while in Jia＂ work,there is harmony and tranquility.Chen has a good sense of epic, composing his work with poetic quality,but Jia is greatly concerned with folk culture.Chen is greatly influenced by school of Ru,and shows reflection with profoundity and Jia is influenced by Buddha, paying great attention to intuition and perception.
