数字有线电视前端调制器的设计与实现

Design and Realization of Head-end Modulator for Digital Cable Television

前端调制器是HFC网络实现数据传输的关键设备。本文从DVB-C标准入手,给出了前端调制器组成框图,对数据接口、QAM调制、射频上变频器等主要组成模块进行了分析与讨论,给出了设计方案。最后,给出调制器的中频和射频输出信号的实测结果。

The Head-end modulator is the key equipment for data transmission applied in HFC network. At first, this paper introduces DVB-C standard. With the understand of this, we put forward the conceptual block diagram of head-end modulator. The main modules of the modulator are analyzed and discussion. These modules include the data interface, QAM modulation and RF up-converter. At last, this paper presents the measuring results of medium frequency ＆ RF signals for modulator.
