In this paper a design of asynchronous serial - port expanded in embeded industrial control using PXA255 processor and Windows CE is presented. It presents the serial - port of PXA255 and asynchronous communication chip TL16C554. It gives a detailed design method using TL16C554 to expand serial- port. Also it gives the main schematic diagram and the realization on Windows CE.
