Shift control system development for automatic transmissions using information from the vehicle's navigation system

介绍一种利用导航系统提供的道路信息进行换档控制的方法。导航信息包括汽车到前面弯道的距离、轮廓等。换档控制系统基于这些信息、坡度数据、目前车速和驾驶方式确定最优换档方案。文中分析这种新换档系统的结构特点和应用效果。

A automatic transmission control system , which effects the shift control by using the road data obtained by a navigation system, has been developed. This system acquires data such as the distance from the vehicle to the curve located ahead, the contour of the curve from the navigation system. Then, the system determines the optimum gear selection based on the above mentioned information, the gradient data, the present vehicle speed and the driver＇ s maneuvers. This paper describes the construction, features, and the effectiveness of the new shift control system that has been developed for automatic transmissions.
