摘要
剑桥大学的人才培养有其独到之处。在办学理念上强调理性训练和人格塑造,注重原创性研究,反对教育的功利主义;在培养过程中注重“议”“写”环节的训练;在校园氛围上重视文化融合与思想交流。它给我们的模式启示有三点:一是要重视原创性研究,厚积而薄发;二是要为学生创造一个宽松的学习氛围,促使学生从被动学习转为主动学习;三是重视师生间的彼此交流。
Cambridge University is unique in its cultivation of students-emphasizing rational training, character building, original research, discussion and writing skills, cultural communication, and exchange of ideas, and opposing pure utilitarianism. The three major areas of its edification are: strengthening original research and accumulation of knowledge; providing an optimal atmosphere for tapping students' initiative in pursuing their studies and interests: and facilitating communication between teachers and students.
