The Research of the Changing of Abai's Nationality

哈萨克斯坦的伟大诗人阿拜出生的成吉思汗山区属于中国的领土,直到同治三年(1864)阿拜9岁时,才通过不平等的条约,成为俄罗斯的领地。阿拜国籍的被动变更,也影响了他的诗歌创作。

The birthplace, the mountain area, of the great Kazakstan poet Abai, was formerly the territory of Genghis khan of China, became the Russian territory in 1964, through the in-equal treaty between China and Russia, when he was only at the age of nine. Therefore he was compelled to change his nationality, which influenced his writing of poems then.
