基于嵌入式平台的EPON系统设计与实现

摘要 EPON系统是一种优良的高速、宽带接入解决方案,是实现光纤到户(FTTP)的重要解决方案之一;针对现有EPON系统在FTTH部署中存在的问题,提出采用嵌入式系统控制与管理EPON系统的方案,可以有效解决EPON系统的体积、成本、供电、环境条件等问题;阐述了嵌入式EPON系统的控制与管理部分(HOST)的需要实现的功能;实现了HOST部分的软硬基础平台的构建以及HOST部分的控制和管理软件各模块的功能,样机测试结果表明嵌入式EPON系统具有体积小,成本低,功耗小,适应面广的特点,是规模部署FTTH的一种理想方案。 EPON system, one of the most important solution to implement FTTH (Fiber To The Home), is a kind of excellent high speed, broadband access platform. In view of the deployment problems of FTTH in the existing EPON system, the plan of using the embedded systems to control and manage the EPON is proposed, which solves the EPON system problems effectively, such as system volume, cost, power supply, environmental condition, and so on. The functions of the part of embedded EPON system's control and management (HOST part), which need realizing, are elaborated. The constructing of software and hardware platform of HOST part and the function of respective modules of HOST control software are implementd. The test result of prototypes shows Embedded EPON system is one of the ideal plans of large-scale deployment of the FTTH, with the feature of slight volume, low cost, low power consumption, broad adaptation.
