On the Balance Between University Autonomy and the Judicial Intervention

大学自治就是大学自己决定和管理自己的事情。无论在国外还是在中国,大学自治都不是绝对的,而是有限度的,为此,司法介入就成为了必要。同理,司法介入也不是绝对的,它的介入也是有限度的。因此,必须寻求他们之间的平衡点才能使两者相得益彰,互相促进。

University Autonomy refers to the self-management of the college and university. Its rights are not absolute, but limited in the scope and degree. In this sense, judicial intervention is necessary. In the same way, judicial intervention is not absolute either; it is restricted in some areas. Consequently, to find out the balance point for them is important and advantageous for their mutual promotion.
