Pragmatic Failures Caused by Language Transfer

在外语学习过程中,学习者不可避免地受到来自母语的影响,即语际迁移。语际的负迁移会导致语用失误,主要表现在语言及社交两方面。防止语用失误最有效的方法是在语用交际中遵守语用原则,加大文化意识的培养,提高语言使用者的语言交际能力。

The learning of a foreign language is inevitably affected by the learner＇ native language. There are positive transfer and negative transfer,and the latter always causes the pragmatic failures in communication. Since the failures are mainly from two aspects-language and communication, the most effective way to prevent it is to follow the pragmatic principles,enhance the cultural awareness and improve the communicative competence.
